Q1. Do I need an appointment?
Bridal appointments are not required but are highly recommended, especially on weekends. You do not need an appointment to look at bridemaids,
but you are required to be at the store no later than one hour prior to store closing time. Walk ins are welcome and we will try to accomodate you as quickly as we can on a first come, first served basis.
Q2. How long should I expect an appointment to last?
Bridal appointments typically last between an hour to an hour and a half. End of day appointments must be scheduled at least one hour prior to closing time (see Location & Hours page.)
Q3. How do I make an appointment?
Please go to our Contact Us page and submit the appointment request form. You can also call BrideBeautiful (404-250-4330) and the receptionist will be glad to assist you.
Q4. How many people can I bring with me to my appointment?
We have limited seating, so we request that you bring only those people who are crucial to help you make your decision. If you are bringing a large
group with you, we recommend weekday appointments when the store is not as busy. Children are discouraged, unless they are being measured for a dress. Children must remain with an adult at all times and are not permitted to stand on pedestals or try on tiaras, veils, and shoes.
Q5. What credit cards do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. A minimum deposit of 60% is required on all special order items.
Q6. After my order is placed for my wedding gown, how long will it take to arrive?
BrideBeautiful places each order the same day as your purchase is made. Average arrival is 4 to 6 months, depending on the designer and the time of year. Special ordering your gown with custom changes may take a little longer, and payment in full is required. Rush shipping is available from most designers for an extra charge.
Q7. Am I allowed to take pictures?
Pictures are allowed to be taken only after your bridal gown has been purchased. Video cameras are NOT allowed.
Q8. How do you determine what size I will wear?
When you order a gown, a consultant will take your measurements over just your bra and underwear. This insures snug body measurements. Measurements should never be taken over clothing. Each designer has thier own size chart. The bride is allowed to order any size she chooses. If your measurements fall between sizes it is best to order for the larger measurements. Gowns can be taken in, but may not have extra fabric to be let out. Gowns are not cut to your measurements so expect alterations, which are an additional charge, to make your gown fit perfectly.
Q9. Where does the designer ship my gown when it is ready?
Special order gowns are shipped to BrideBeautiful. The designer will not ship directly to the bride. Once the gown arrives, we will inspect the gown. The bride will be called immediately upon arrival of the gown. We require that you come in within 2 weeks upon your gown's arrival to try on your gown and take care of any remaining balance. We recommend that you make an appointment with your sales consultant to try on your gown and pick out any accessories. We do not accept pick up appointments on weekends. If you choose to come in on a weekend, you will be served first come, first served between other appointments. BrideBeautiful can also ship your items to you. All packages are shipped ground UPS unless you request and pay for a two day or overnight shipping. There is a charge for shipping and insurance. All gowns and accessories are insured. We will confirm your address before shipping.
Q10. Do I have to pay sales tax if I am from out of state?
Customers residing outside the state of GA and having their merchandise shipped to them, will NOT pay GA sales tax. Customers who live within the state of GA will pay GA sales tax.
Q11. How can I have the best experience BrideBeautiful has to offer?
The best days to come to BrideBeautiful are weekdays. Weekdays are more relaxed which means you will have a longer time to shop and more mirror space.
Q12. When are your big sales?
BrideBeautiful has sales and trunk shows through out the year. Most sales and trunk shows take place during the months of January-March and September-November. We also have a Spring and Fall Sample sale each year. Watch our website and Facebook page for upcoming events, trunk shows, and sales.
Q13. Do you accept returns?
All sales are final. This final sales policy is consistent with the bridal industry standard.
Q14. What are the price ranges of the gowns that you sell?
Wedding gowns range from $500 to $3000. Bridesmaids gowns range from under $100 up to $300. A minimum deposit of 60% is required to place your order.
Q15. How long should I allow for bridesmaids gowns to arrive after ordering?
Bridesmaids gowns take 12-16 weeks to arrive after ordering. Rush is available from most designers for a charge.
Q16. How can I make sure my bridesmaids gowns are the best fit possible?
Make sure your bridesmaids get measured properly. If in question measure twice. We also recommend that you come in to try the gown on, or find a store near you that carries the gown. The most common mistake is that bridesmaids measure too far down for their waist measurement. The waist is measured at the smallest part of the torso, above the belly button. Not where you wear your jeans. Also, your bust measurement is not your bra size. Every bridesmaids gown designer has its own size chart, and the sizes can vary greatly. You could wear a 6 by one designer and a 10 by another designer. Do not guess at your size. You can always have a gown taken in, but you may not have enough fabric to let a gown out. The bridesmaids gowns are not cut to your measurements. You are ordering the closest size to your measurements. BrideBeautiful staff is not allowed to choose your size for you. We will explain where your measurements fall on the size chart, but the decision is yours. Extra length is usually nescesarry if you are 5'9" or over. Please consider the heel height you will be wearing.
Q17. If I order the wrong size bridesmaids gowns will the designer exchange sizes with me?
It is the policy of the bridal industry that there are no exchanges and all sales are final. Bridesmaids gowns are cut just for your order. The gowns are not kept in stock. When BrideBeautiful places your oder for you bridesmaids gowns, the gowns are cut from the same dye lot of fabric and in the sizes you requested. Remember BrideBeautiful staff is not allowed to choose your sizes.
